Overview

Are you a Chief Executive Officer in a financial institution who does not understand data security or has a desire to learn more? Beginning in 1999, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act required all financial institutions to design and implement an Information Security Program. As such, most organizations got busy naming an Information Security Officer and supporting the technology team in implementing security controls; however, fast forward some 25 years, and the digital world is exploding, with artificial intelligence, open banking, data privacy, machine learning, and digital currencies set to take center stage.

What do all these technological advancements mean? Data stewardship (including both security and privacy) will continue to move to the forefront and become a strategic issue as technology-based banking continues to grow and as more attack surfaces are available to malicious hackers and insiders. In this course, you will receive one hour of specific CEO training, in addition to the three hours of broad-based training.
