Michele Barlow is the Executive Vice President of Education at PaymentsFirst, a premier payments association serving financial institutions across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions. Known for her infectious passion for industry education, Michele spearheads the development and execution of the association's top-tier training and certification programs.Her expertise is widely recognized at the national level, where she actively shapes the future of the industry on Nacha’s Payments Institute Board of Regents, the APRP and AFPP Oversight Panels, and the NCP Editorial Board. A frequent and dynamic speaker at national industry events, Michele spent the first part of her career as a corporate trainer for a financial institution before joining PaymentsFirst in 2009.Michele holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a highly credentialed payments expert, holding AAP (2010), NCP (2011), APRP (2022), and AFPP (2025) certifications.
