Chris is General Counsel for U.S. Senator Cynthia M. Lummis. He is Sen. Lummis’ principal legal advisor and concentrates on Senate Banking Committee matters, including crypto assets and financial technology.
He was previously General Counsel of the Wyoming Division of Banking, where he implemented Wyoming’s crypto asset laws. He was also recently a Research Fellow at the Northwestern University School of Law, and has been published several times on the constitutional law of legislative procedure.
Chris holds a B.S. from Florida State University, an LL.M. from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
